Who can do what

The platform uses a role-based permission model. Every action in the system is tied to a permission, and the standard roles group them sensibly for operatives, supervisors, managers and administrators. Menus show people only what their role allows, so the system is simpler for them as well as safer.

• Separate roles for floor work, supervision, stock control and administration.
• Administrators manage users and roles from the supervisor portal.
• Devices are controlled. A handheld or wallboard must be registered and approved before it can use your data, and can be disabled at any time.
• Every stock change is recorded in the movement ledger, with who, when and why.

Sign-in

Single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID is planned ahead of production use, so people sign in with the accounts your IT team already manages. Pilots and demonstrations run with simpler access that is suitable for evaluation. We will agree the sign-in approach with your IT team before go-live.

• Microsoft Azure, in the UK. The platform runs on Azure App Service with Azure SQL Database.
• Backups. Azure SQL provides automatic point-in-time backups.
• Secrets kept in a vault, not in code or configuration files.
• Health checks across the platform let us detect problems early.

Built with care

The platform has a layered design built for several clients and warehouses from the start, and it is backed by an extensive automated test suite of more than 20,000 checks covering the rules, the interface and the integrations. That gives us confidence to make changes safely.

Your data stays yours. We agree retention and handling in writing, and we explain what we hold and where in our privacy notice. If you have specific security or compliance requirements, bring them to the first conversation and we will tell you plainly what is in place today and what is planned.
