Warehouse management / ERP integration

Two-way ERP integration with no re-keying

The platform works alongside your ERP: released work comes in, results go back, and nothing is typed twice.

Two-way, and automatic

The warehouse platform is built to work alongside your ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, the main business system that holds your orders, stock and accounts, not to replace it. Work flows in, results flow back, and nobody re-types anything.

  • In: pick tickets and goods receipts are picked up from your ERP as they are released.
  • Out: pick and put-away results are posted back to your ERP when the work is finished, so your stock and orders stay accurate.
  • Product data: products and branch-level product settings are synchronised from your ERP, your product information management (PIM) system, which is where product descriptions, specifications and classifications are kept, or any other data source.

We build the connector for your ERP, whichever route it offers: a web interface, a database procedure or file exchange.

Reliable by design

Warehouse results must reach your ERP once, and only once. The integration is built for that:

  • A queue of outgoing messages. Results are stored first and sent afterwards, so a failure at your end never loses warehouse work.
  • Automatic retry. Failed messages are retried after 1, 5, 15 and 60 minutes, then hourly, up to ten attempts, before being flagged for attention.
  • Safe repeats. Posting the same result twice cannot double-count stock.
  • Visible rejections. If an import breaks a limit or a rule, it is rejected in plain sight, not quietly dropped.

See it, and fix it, from the portal

An integration status page in the supervisor portal shows messages waiting to send, with retry and cancel, the state of each feed, and any imports that were rejected. Supervisors can see what the ERP has and has not received without calling anyone.

The platform can also compare its stock with a snapshot from your ERP, so differences are found and explained instead of discovered at month-end.

Light on your network

A small service runs on your own network, close to your ERP, and connects outward to the platform. No inbound firewall rules are needed.

Questions people ask

Which ERPs can you connect to?

We build the connector to suit your system. Tell us what you run and how it exposes orders and stock, and we will say what is involved on a free 30-minute call.

What if our ERP is unavailable for a while?

Warehouse work continues. Results queue up and are sent automatically when the ERP is back.

Who owns stock, the ERP or the platform?

That is a choice for your business. Many start with the ERP as the master and the platform recording every movement, then reconcile between them. Our guide to replacing or connecting your ERP explains the trade-offs.
